William's FAQs

Q: Where can I find your books?

A: Click *here* to find your favorite ebook vendor. Paperback is available on Amazon

Q: What is you process for writing?

A:  I have found that if I try to compel words from my fingers, none come, but if I sit down and my book calls to me, then I can easily write 4,000, 5,000, or more words. I have a cup of ice tea (no sugar), headphones with music, and my story. I don't have a schedule or requirement to write every day.

Q: Do you write in your PJ's or do you DRESS as though you are going to a 9 to 5 job?

A: Funny you should ask that. I am currently sitting at my computer in PJ pants and a tank top. So, I would have to say "In my PJs"

Q: How do you celebrate when you complete a project?

A: I celebrate by taking a deep breath and a deeper swallow of something alcoholic. (I don't drink while I'm writing).

Q: How do you direct your sexual wanting through your work?  Do you sublimate the energy similar to many other artists or maybe you do not have any internal motives between sex and your work?

A: Sex is not a factor in my current series. No place for it in the process.  However: if I do write a sexier story, I will be the actor putting my "experience" into the story.

Q: You said you teach. What subjects?

A: I teach psychology, college success, and English. I love my job and would love to see more teachers say the same. I care about my students' success.

Q: You edit. Do you have a website or Facebook link?

A: I edit pretty much anything. My business is a partnership with a talented book cover designer. Together we do more than edit. We create back of book blurbs, formatting books for eBook and Paperback on all online services like Amazon and Smashwords. We have branched out with additional services like agent introduction letters for our clients.

Q: What do you charge for your editing?

A: The short answer is "It depends." The longer answer is a full, line-edit is more than my standard rate of $1.50 per page (8 1/2 x 11) and my proofreading rate of $1.00 a page. Other services depend on what you want done.

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: I get on Facebook and avoid the nonsense while chatting with my friends. I write and I love to draw, though I don't do that often. It seems I work for fun. Weird, right?
